From quiet moments at home to big gatherings, family portraits should feel natural and true — not stiff or forced. I want your session to be comfortable, whether it’s just your immediate family or grandparents, cousins, and everyone in between.

The pricing is simple: whether it’s a small family or the whole clan, sessions are the same. If you’d like to capture individual family groups while we’re together, you can add that on — so every branch of the family tree has their story preserved.

Years from now, it won’t be the perfectly posed shots that matter most. It’ll be the laughter, the hugs, and the connection that remind you what family really feels like.

Family Roots — $150

Add-On Options

Want separate photos of each family unit while we’re together? Add $50 per family grouping and I’ll make sure everyone gets their own piece of the story.

  • Extended sessions include not just the big group photo, but also smaller family groups and candid storytelling images. It takes more time to get everyone comfortable and covered, but it’s worth it.

  • Keep it comfortable, simple colors or layers. It’s about feeling natural and relaxed — not stiff or matching a Pinterest board.

  • Most sessions happen evenings or weekends when families are free, but I’ll work with your schedule.

  • Generational sessions include extended family—grandparents, adult children, cousins, and beyond. If you’d like me to capture separate family units during the same session, just add $50 per family grouping so everyone gets their own collection.

  • Homeplace porches, family farms, church grounds, or a favorite park all make wonderful backdrops. If you’re unsure, I can recommend spots with beautiful light and room for everyone.

  • If rain or high winds roll in, we’ll simply reschedule at no charge for the next available date. Your family’s comfort and experience always come first.
