Mill Creek Collection

“This is where I share the landscapes, wildlife, and scenes that inspire me most over the weekend. These are the newest of the collection and are updated each week.

Each piece is available as a print, ready to bring a touch of North Carolina’s beauty into your home. The complete collection can be found by clicking the link below.

I will also showcase sessions that I have done and highlight my portrait, event, and commercial work. I am dedicated to sharing my vision and work with you. Please enjoy them as much as I did taking them.

“ Eastern Carolina Mornings”

June 2026

There is something special about the first light of day along the North Carolina coast. Before the crowds arrive and before the world fully wakes up, the water becomes still, the colors soften, and familiar places take on a different personality. This collection is a reflection of those quiet moments—from working waterfronts and weathered piers to open fields greeting the sunrise. Each image is a reminder that beauty is often found in the simple places we pass every day, if we're willing to slow down long enough to see it.

"The world changes every morning. Sometimes all we have to do is be there to watch it happen."

— Jeff Roberts

“Cool Mornings of Eastern North Carolina”

January 2026

“In the early morning hours of Martin Luther King Jr Day we were up and on the road at 3:30 am chasing a unseen sunrise. The direction was west and a little north. The roads carried us to Jordan Lake, a lake I have never visited and I am so glad that we did. It has amazing views and wildlife. I hope you enjoy as we did!”

“Fall Moments in Eastern North Carolina”

November 2025

“When autumn settles over Eastern North Carolina, the mornings turn to gold. Streets fall quiet, trees burn with color, and the first light of day brushes against old porches, church columns, and winding roads. These images capture the peace and beauty of those moments — where history, nature, and the season meet.”

“Coastal Mornings — The Working Heart of Pamlico”

November 2025

Before most of the world wakes, the coast already hums with quiet purpose. From the trawlers resting in Oriental’s harbor to the first light spilling over Styrontown’s pier, these scenes capture the rhythm of life along the Pamlico Sound and the Neuse River steady, humble, and enduring. Each photograph tells a story of water and work, of resilience in the face of storms, and of the beauty found in stillness.

Through Coastal Mornings, Mill Creek Photography preserves the spirit of our coastal communities — where boats, roots, and sunlight all meet the same horizon.
